FOOTREST RUBBER
Rubber cover for the footrest peg, Triumph part 82-9051, also known as 82-0037, F37, or F9051.
This is the rubber that slides over the footrest peg, the part that actually contacts your boot and takes the vibration out of standing or resting your foot on the peg all day. Triumph part number 82-9051, also listed in older parts books under 82-0037, F37, and F9051, so if your catalog shows one of those older numbers, it's the same physical piece.

The catalog places this rubber in the frame and fittings section as well as the footrests and brake linkage figures, and it also turns up in the exhaust pipes and folding footrest listings for the TR6C, so it's used on more than one style of footrest across that model. Catalog appearances run from 1968 to 1973.
These wear and split with age and UV exposure the way all rubber components do, and a torn or perished footrest rubber means your boot is riding on bare metal peg, which isn't much fun in the rain. Worth checking these along with your other rubber parts when you're going through the bike.
