This is the tail lamp adapter that carries the rear light on Triumph twins fitted with the standard mudguard setup, showing up in our records under the legacy number F6847 as well as its modern 82-6847 form. It's the alloy housing that sits between the mudguard and the lamp unit itself, giving the taillight a place to mount and locating it on the fender.
