Air Filter T100S

Air filter for the T100S, listed under battery/toolkit and battery carrier figures, part number 82-6430 (alias F6430).

PN · 82-6430

This is the air filter listed for the T100S in the parts books, part number 82-6430, also found under the older F6430 designation. It shows up in the figures covering the battery, toolkit, and air filter area, and separately in the battery carrier and air filter figure, which tells you it lives tucked in near the battery box rather than out in the open on the carburetor itself.

An air filter in this spot does the basic job of any filter element on these bikes: it keeps grit and road dust out of the carb intake before it gets pulled into the engine. On these machines the filter housing is often shared space with the battery and tool tray, so when you're pulling the side panel to service one you're usually looking at all three.

Our catalog record ties this part to the T100S across appearances from 1965 to 1969, but we don't have finer year-by-year fitment past that. If you're working on a specific year T100S, check the physical part against what's currently on the bike before you order, and give us a call if anything doesn't look right.
