Bolt, bracket to silencer (1/2 in. U. H)
A 1/2 in. U.H. bolt used to secure the exhaust silencer bracket, also seen in mudguard and other bracket applications on Triumphs.
This is the bolt that holds the exhaust silencer bracket in place, a small but easy-to-lose fastener that shows up across a long run of Triumph parts books. The catalog lists it under bracket-to-silencer duty, and it also turns up in mudguard, fender, oil tank, and even speedo/tail lamp figures, so this same bolt got used in more than one spot on the bike over the years. The legacy alias F929 is the earlier form of this same part number.

Going by the description, it's a 1/2 in. bolt measured under the head (U.H.), which tells you the length that matters for fitment is from under the bolt head to the tip, not overall length. With appearances spanning 1960 through 1970 in the parts books and 38 separate listings, this is clearly a fastener Triumph reused widely rather than a one-off item.
Because the exact thread spec isn't settled in our own records for every listing, and different silencer/bracket setups on these bikes used different threads over the years, it's worth checking what's actually threaded into your bracket before ordering a batch. If you're not sure which version you need, give the shop a call and we'll help nail it down.
