Inlet manifold - L.H.

Left-hand inlet manifold, PN 71-3339, carries mixture from the carb into the left side of the cylinder head.

PN · 71-3339

This is the left-hand inlet manifold, PN 71-3339, the tube that carries fuel/air mixture from the carburetor into the cylinder head on the left side of the motor. It's part of the manifold and tappets group in the parts book, so it lives right up against the head where the carb bolts on.

Being the left-hand piece, it's specific to that side and isn't interchangeable with its right-hand counterpart. This is a wear item worth checking for cracks or an oval, worn carb flange, since a leak here shows up as an air leak that throws off the mixture and makes the bike run lean or hunt at idle.

Our catalog record shows this one appearing across a handful of listings through the mid-to-late 1970s. If you're not sure which side you need or whether it'll seat properly against your head, give us a call and we'll sort out fitment before you order.
