Cap, main bearing
Main bearing cap for the crankcase, fitted to hold the main bearing in place at the bottom end of the engine.
This is the main bearing cap that bolts to the crankcase to hold the main bearing in place, part number 71-3208, also carried as E13208 in the older letter-prefix numbering. It shows up in the crankcase sections of the parts books, right where the bottom end of the engine is line-bored and fitted for the main bearings.

A cap like this is a fitted item, machined together with its crankcase half, so it's not something you want to mix and match between engines. Our catalog listings for this one run from 1972 to 1974, so that's the window we can confirm from our records.
If you're rebuilding a bottom end and need this cap, best to confirm the case it's paired with, since these are typically matched sets rather than a generic stock part.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
