PLUG ROCKER BOX LATE SIDE ADJUST 1971 on
Side-mounted tappet inspection plug for the late side-adjuster rocker box, used to check valve clearance without removing the rocker box cover.
This is the tappet inspection plug that threads into the side of the rocker box on the later side-adjuster head. It gives access to the rocker adjusting pin so you can slip a feeler gauge in and check valve clearance without pulling the rocker box cover off. Each rocker box has one of these on each side, so a full check means dealing with several of them.

The catalog calls this the late side-adjust version, dated 1971 on, and it shows up across the T100R, TR6R/TR6C, and T120R cylinder head figures from that era, including both earlier and later variants of those heads. The alias E12079 is the same physical part under its other listed number.
When you pull one of these to check clearance, plan on a new copper crush washer to reseal it. Cheap to keep a few on hand so you're not scrounging washers mid-job.
