BSA Exhaust pipe — left

Left-hand exhaust header pipe for the BSA A65 twin, 1971-72.

PN · 71-2043

This is the left-hand exhaust pipe for the BSA A65 twin, as shown in the CYLINDER BARREL — EXHAUST PIPES — VALVES section of the parts book. It's the header pipe that runs from the left exhaust port down and back, carrying spent gases away from that cylinder.

Catalog listings tie this pipe to the A65 line for the 1971-72 model years, and it's cataloged alongside a matching right-hand pipe (71-2045) as part of a header set. Some versions of that set included a cross-over balance pipe as well, so if your bike has one, check that it's accounted for when you're sorting out a full exhaust system.

This is a BSA part, not a Triumph part, despite showing up here at the shop's counter — worth double-checking against your bike before you order, since left and right pipes aren't interchangeable and the catalog only ties this one to the A65 for those two years.
