ADAPTOR 930 AMAL Oil in Frame - No Lip
Threaded adaptor ring for Amal 900-series carbs that lets a non-threaded air cleaner connector seal to the carb inlet on Oil-in-Frame Triumph twins.
This is the threaded adaptor ring that fits over the inlet of an Amal 900-series Concentric carburetor on Oil-in-Frame Triumph twins, letting a non-threaded air cleaner connector seat properly against the carb. Without it, the rubber airbox connector has nothing to grip and seal against on the threaded carb mouth. It shows up in the catalog under both the GAS TANKS AND TWINSEAT and AIR CLEANERS AND SIDE PANELS figures, which tells you it's considered part of the induction and side-panel/airbox assembly rather than the carb itself.

The part is cataloged as "no lip," distinguishing it from other adaptor variants that have a lip lasered or turned into the ring. If your parts book still lists the old E11860 form, that's the same physical piece under its earlier number.
It's a small, easy-to-overlook item, but if the seal between carb and airbox is missing or worn out you'll get an air leak and inconsistent running. Worth having on hand when you're servicing the induction side of the Oil-in-Frame twins from this era.
