Grommet, alternator leads - external
Rubber grommet sealing the alternator lead wires where they exit the crankcase.
This is the rubber grommet that seals the alternator lead wires where they pass through the crankcase, on the outside of the case. It's a small part but it does a real job: it keeps oil from weeping out around the wires and keeps the lead insulation from chafing against bare metal as the engine runs.

Catalog records list it under the CRANKCASE figure, and it's shown across a wide span of catalog years, so it's a part that stuck around in the parts books largely unchanged. If your parts book uses the older E-prefix number, E11345, or the 43-99771 form, that's the same physical grommet as 71-1345.
These age and split with heat and oil exposure over the years, so it's worth checking yours if you've had any oil seepage around the alternator leads at the case. It's an easy thing to have on hand when you're in there for other crankcase work.
