KEY,WOODRUFF 3 CYL
A woodruff key for the three cylinder Triumph triple engine, locking a gear or sprocket to its shaft.
This is a woodruff key, the small half-moon shaped piece of steel that locks a gear or sprocket onto its shaft so it can't spin independently. The catalog notes this one for the three cylinder engines, which on Triumph means the Trident triple line. Woodruff keys are simple parts but they do real work holding rotating components in time with the shaft they're keyed to.

Our records show it listed under the alias AA07 as well, so if you're working from an older parts book and see that number, it's the same physical piece. We don't have a lot of extra detail on file beyond the basic identification, so if you're not sure which shaft or gear position you need it for, give us a call before ordering.
At this size and price point it's a good one to keep a spare of in the toolbox, since it's easy to lose track of during a strip-down.
