Grommet — alternator lead
Rubber grommet sealing the alternator lead where it exits the crankcase.
PN · 70-9807
This is the grommet Triumph used where the alternator lead passes through the crankcase. It's a small rubber piece, but it does a real job: it seals the hole the wire runs through so oil doesn't seep out around the cable, and it keeps the lead from getting cut or worn where it exits the case.
