70-9737 is a washer that seats between the oil pressure release valve and the crankcase. It's a small sealing piece, but it does the job of keeping oil where it belongs at that joint instead of seeping out around the valve body.

The catalog places this one in the oil pump and gearbox sprocket area, so it's tied to the lubrication system rather than being a generic hardware washer. Our records show it appearing in 1970 catalog listings, but we don't have a specific model tied to it beyond that.
