Metal-core rocker box gasket for the 500cc Triumph unit twin, PN 70-9511E.
This is a rocker box gasket, metal-core construction, for the 500cc unit-construction Triumph twin. It seats between the rocker box and the head to keep oil where it belongs while the rockers do their work up top. The metal core version holds up better under repeated removal than a straight fibre gasket, which matters if you're the type who's in and out of the rocker box checking clearances.

The part number 70-9511E is the current form of this gasket. Our records show it replaced two earlier factory numbers, 70-3743 and 70-9511, so if your parts book lists either of those older numbers you're looking at the same physical gasket under a different number.
