This is the oil scavenge pipe listed under Triumph part number 70-9496, also found in older records as E9496. It appears in the crankcase section of the parts books, where it carries oil back from the timing side of the engine to the oil tank as part of the dry-sump return circuit.

A scavenge pipe like this one doesn't take much abuse mechanically but it lives in a spot where a bad seal or a cracked fitting means oil loss, so it's worth a look whenever the crankcase is apart. Our catalog record shows it appearing across a handful of listings from 1969 to 1974, but we don't have specifics tying it to one exact model - check it against what's currently on your crankcase before ordering.
If you're rebuilding the bottom end or chasing an oil leak around the crankcase, this is a small part worth having on hand rather than reusing a questionable original.
