ABUTMENT,T150 CHAIN ADJUSTER

Chain adjuster abutment for the T150 triple's primary drive, PN 70-9257 (aka E9257).

PN · 70-9257

This is the chain adjuster abutment for the T150 triple, part number 70-9257, also listed as E9257 in the older parts books. It shows up in the primary transmission and oil pump drive section, where it works with the primary chain tensioner setup to let you take slack out of the primary chain as it wears.

It's a small, simple piece of hardware, but it matters for keeping primary chain tension right so you're not chewing up the chaincase or the tensioner blade. Given the low appearance count in the catalog, this looks like a part specific to the T150 triple's primary drive rather than something shared across the wider Triumph line.

If you're rebuilding a primary chaincase on a T150 and this piece is worn, chewed up, or missing, it's worth replacing along with the rest of the tensioner hardware while you're in there. Give us a call if you want to confirm exactly how it mates up with your tensioner blade before ordering.
