Fulcrum pin nut
Fulcrum pin nut for the front wheel/brake pivot, PN 70-8999 (alias E8999).
This is the fulcrum pin nut, part number 70-8999 (also listed under the earlier E8999 designation), shown in the front wheel section of the parts book. It threads onto the fulcrum pin that the front brake components pivot on, holding that pin in place so the brake mechanism stays put.

Our catalog record only shows this part turning up once, tied to the 1968 model year, so we don't have a broader spread of fitment to point to. If you're matching this up to a bike outside that year, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
It's a small, easy-to-overlook fastener, but a missing or worn one can let the fulcrum pin work loose, so it's worth checking when you have the front wheel apart.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
