Joint washer, tacho drive
Joint washer that seals the tachometer drive fitting on the tacho drive unit.
This is a joint washer that seats under the tachometer drive fitting, sealing that connection where the drive cable or gearbox housing meets the tacho drive unit. It shows up in the parts book under the SPEEDOMETER AND TACHOMETER figure, and the older alias E8739 is just the earlier form of this same washer's number.

It's a small, cheap-to-overlook item, but a worn or missing joint washer at the tacho drive can let oil seep out at that fitting. If you're pulling the drive apart for any reason, it's worth having a fresh one on hand rather than reusing the old one.
