Muffler bracket for the 1968 TR6C, superseded later by 70-8723.
This is the muffler bracket for the TR6C, part number 70-8724, also carded under the earlier E8724 form. It's a piece of exhaust hardware from the EXHAUST PIPES AND MUFFLERS figure for the TR6C, doing the job of holding the silencer steady against the frame instead of letting it hang off the header pipe alone.

The catalog ties this one specifically to 1968 TR6C machines. Triumph later revised the part, and this bracket was superseded by 70-8723 - if your parts book or a prior repair shows that number, it's the same job, updated design.
