Union nut

A union nut used in the cylinder/crankcase oil feed area, also known by its older E8110 number.

PN · 70-8110

70-8110 is a union nut that shows up in the cylinder and crankshaft area of the engine, listed against both the CYLINDER AND CRANKSHAFT and CYLINDER HEAD, BARREL AND CRANKSHAFT figures. Union nuts like this one thread onto a pipe or fitting to draw a joint down tight and seal it, and this one lives in the bottom-end oil circuit going by where it turns up in the parts books.

If your parts book lists this under the older E8110 stamping, that's the same part - Triumph re-numbered a lot of hardware over the years without changing what it actually is.
