Camshaft pinion
Camshaft pinion for the Triumph engine's timing gear train, driven off the crankshaft in the crankcase.
This is a camshaft pinion, the gear that drives the camshaft off the crankshaft down in the bottom half of the engine. It's a Triumph part, and it shows up in the crankcase section of the parts books, so it lives right in there with the timing gears where the crank motion gets handed off to open and close the valves.

The older parts-book form of this number is E8060, in case that's what's stamped in your manual or on an old invoice. Same physical part, just the legacy letter-prefix numbering Triumph used before they went to the all-numeric system.
