ENGINE SPROCKET T140
Engine sprocket for the T140, drives the primary chain off the crankshaft.
70-6890 is the engine sprocket for the T140 line, the piece that mounts on the end of the crankshaft (or mainshaft, depending how you want to think about it) and drives the primary chain back to the clutch. It's a wear item that takes a lot of load every time the bike moves, so if yours is showing hooked or worn teeth, or the chain's been run loose for a while, this is one of the first places to check.
