This is the copper sealing washer that sits under the sump/crankcase drain plug, sized for the 1 inch drain plug used on Triumph unit twins. It shows up in the crankcase figure of the parts books and carries the old E5315 number as well as the current 70-5315.

Copper washers like this one are meant to be crushed once to seal properly, so it's a good idea to fit a new one any time you pull the drain plug for an oil change rather than reusing the old one. Keeping a few on hand saves a trip back to the shop mid-service.
