CARB INLET GASKET 30MM - Replaces 65-1417 71-1421 71-2593 71-3573
A 30mm carburetor inlet gasket that seals the joint between carb and manifold on Triumph 30mm carb setups.
This is the inlet gasket that seals between the carburetor and the manifold on 30mm carb setups. It's a small part but it does real work, keeping the joint airtight so the engine draws clean metered air instead of pulling in extra air past a leaky seal and running lean or erratic at idle.

The catalog lists this one as replacing several earlier part numbers - 65-1417, 71-1421, 71-2593, and 71-3573 - so if your parts book or an old invoice shows one of those numbers, it's the same gasket. It shows up in our records alongside the oil pump, release valve, and manifold and tappets sections, which tells you it's grouped with the induction-side hardware rather than anything electrical.
It's cheap enough to keep a spare on hand whenever you've got the carb off for cleaning or a rebuild - once a gasket like this has been compressed and pulled apart it rarely seals as well going back on.
