HEAD GASKET TRI 500 1967-74 .021 - For early thick gasket use 70-4015
Thin .021 copper head gasket for Triumph 500cc unit twins, part number 70-4675.
This is the head gasket for Triumph's 500cc unit twin, the thin .021 style that fits between the cylinder block and head. It shows up in the parts books under figure sections for the T100S, T100C, T100R, and T100T cylinder block and head assemblies. If you're working on an earlier engine that took the older thick gasket, that's a different part number, 70-4015, not this one.

A head gasket like this seals the combustion chambers and oil and pushrod tunnel passages between the block and head. Getting the thin versus thick style right matters here since Triumph changed gasket thickness over the years on these 500 twins, and using the wrong one can throw off head clearance and sealing.
Owners sometimes find this listed under the earlier E4675 number in older books. Same physical part either way. Worth having on hand any time the head comes off for valve work or a rebuild, since a used gasket won't reseal reliably once it's been compressed.
