Joint washer
Joint washer for the oil pump mounting face on unit Triumph twins, also used at the inlet manifold in some catalog listings.
This is the joint washer that seats between the oil pump body and the crankcase on the unit-construction Triumph twins. It's a small paper or fibre gasket, but it's the thing that keeps oil where it belongs instead of seeping out around the pump mounting face. The catalog also ties this same washer to the inlet manifold area in some figure listings, so it shows up more than once depending on which parts book you're working from.

Older parts books list this part under 71-1461, which was superseded by the current 70-3730 (also stamped E3730 on the shelf). If you're cross-referencing an older diagram and see 71-1461 called out, that's the same washer.
This one comes up a lot in oil pump rebuild work, since anytime you pull the pump off to check the ball valves or springs you'll want a fresh joint washer to go back on with it rather than reusing the old one.
