Valve guide circlip
Small circlip that retains the valve guide in the cylinder head, PN 70-3209 (aka E3209).
This is the small circlip that locates a valve guide in the cylinder head, part number 70-3209, also listed under the older E3209 designation. It sits down in the head where the valve guide passes through, keeping the guide from creeping out of position under the heat and motion of the valve train.

It's a simple retaining part, but it shows up across a wide run of cylinder head and barrel figures in our catalog, from the smaller unit singles and twins through the T100 family. Given how many head configurations it appears in, it's worth checking your own head casting and guide setup before ordering rather than assuming one clip fits every application.
It's inexpensive to keep a couple on hand if you're doing valve guide work, since a lost or distorted circlip during disassembly is common and you don't want to be waiting on one to finish a head job.
