Pushrod for the 650 Triumph twin cylinder head and block assembly, also listed as E2620.

PN · 70-2620
Available in 4 versions:

This is the pushrod used in the cylinder block and head assembly on the 650 twin, part number 70-2620, also seen as E2620 in older parts books. Pushrods run between the tappets down in the timing chest and the rocker arms up top, transferring the lift from the camshaft to open and close the valves. There are four to a set on these engines, two per cylinder, one for the intake and one for the exhaust valve on each side.

The catalog record ties this part to the 650 Triumph twin across a run of cylinder block and head figures covering 6T, TR6, TR6R, and TR6C variants, so it's a part that saw long service across that engine family. If you're pulling the head or timing chest cover for a valve job or a general inspection, it's worth checking these for straightness and wear at the cupped ends where they seat against the tappets and rocker adjusters.

Given how long this pushrod stayed in the parts books, it's a good idea to check both ends for wear grooves or a slight bend before putting the engine back together, since a bad pushrod will show up as noise or uneven valve lash once it's running.
