STUD OIL PUMP 1/4CEI 1.5
Oil pump mounting stud, 1/4 CEI thread, 1.5 inches long, for pre-unit Triumph engines.
This is the oil pump stud, part number 70-1536, the fastener that holds the oil pump body to its mounting face on the pre-unit engine. The catalog lists it as a 1/4 CEI stud at 1.5 inches long, and it's carried under the older E1536 designation as well if that's what's printed in your parts book.

It's a simple, small part but it matters — the oil pump has to seat flat and stay put for the pump to draw and deliver oil properly. If you're rebuilding an oil pump assembly or replacing corroded studs, this is sold individually, so check how many your pump uses before you order.
We don't have much more detail on file beyond the stud spec itself. If you're unsure this is the right length or thread for your particular pump housing, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
