WASHER,ROCKER SPINDLE 3/8 ID - Replaces 40-0157, 67-0061

70-1330 is the rocker spindle washer with a 3/8 inch ID, used in the cylinder head on Triumph's rocker box assembly. It's a thrust washer that rides on the rocker spindle inside the head, part of the small stack of hardware that keeps the rocker arms located and running true on their shaft.

This one shows up across a long run of cylinder block and head listings, from pre-unit era figures through the OIF twins, so it's one of those parts that carried forward largely unchanged for decades. The catalog also shows it replacing two earlier factory numbers, 40-0157 and 67-0061, so if your parts book lists either of those on a rocker box exploded view, this is the current part.
It's small, it's inexpensive, and it's easy to overlook when you're doing a head or rocker box job, but a rocker spindle assembly wants all its original washers accounted for when it goes back together. Worth having a few on hand any time you're in there.
