BSA Sidecover buffer
Rubber buffer that cushions the sidecover panel against the frame.
PN · 68-9298
This is a sidecover buffer, a small rubber piece that sits between the frame and the sidecover panel to keep it from rattling against the metal. It shows up in the parts book under both the SIDECOVERS and AIR CLEANER figures, so it's doing duty near where the panel meets the airbox area on the side of the bike.
