This is an oil return pipe, the line that carries oil back from the engine to the oil tank as part of the return side of the lubrication system. It shows up in the parts book under the OIL TANK, TOOLBOX, SILENCERS figure grouping, which tells us where it sits in the layout but not much beyond that.
