4/5 SPEED SPROCKET SOCKET
Factory-style socket tool for removing the sprocket nut on 4/5 speed unit gearboxes.
This is the factory-style socket tool for the gearbox mainshaft sprocket nut on the 4/5 speed unit gearboxes. It's built to fit over the large nut that holds the gearbox sprocket in place, giving you the flat sides and depth needed to get a wrench or breaker bar on it without chewing up the nut or the surrounding case.

Any time you're pulling the gearbox sprocket for a sprocket swap, chain work, or a gearbox rebuild, you need something that grips that nut properly, and the stock ends or an adjustable wrench just won't get in there clean. This socket is sized for that one job.
We don't have a lot of extra background on this one beyond what's in our tool listings, so if you're not sure whether your gearbox nut matches, give us a call before you order and we'll help confirm before it ships.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
