TAPPET GUIDE BLOCK PUNCH

Factory-style punch (drift) for removing and installing tappet guide blocks in Triumph OHV twin barrels.

PN · 61-6008

This is the factory-style punch, also called a drift, used for driving tappet guide blocks in and out of the barrel on Triumph overhead-valve twins. It is a dedicated service tool rather than a bike part itself, meant to make removal and installation of the guide blocks straightforward without marring the bores they sit in.

Our records on this one are thin, but the old book number P201 and the current 61-6008 refer to the same tool. If you are doing valve gear or barrel work and need to pull or seat tappet guide blocks, this is the tool that job calls for.

Give us a call if you want to confirm this is the right punch for the engine you are working on before you order.
