CLUTCH LOCKING TOOL 6 SPR
Service tool for locking down a 6-spring clutch pressure plate during removal and installation.
This is the clutch locking tool, PN 61-3768, also known under the older P251 designation. It's a service tool, not a bike component: it holds the clutch pressure plate and springs compressed so you can get the retaining nuts or bolts off without the plate flying apart on you or the springs launching across the shop.

Catalog listings tie this tool to the 6-spring clutch setup, and it shows up in reference under the Z13 tool number as well as 61-3768. If you're working on a clutch with this spring arrangement, having one of these on hand makes the job a lot less of a wrestling match.
We don't have a lot of extra detail on file beyond that, so if you're not sure your clutch matches the 6-spring configuration this tool is meant for, give us a call and we'll help sort out what you've got before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
