MAIN BRG,ROLLER T140 LATE
Roller-type main bearing for later T140 engines, later superseded by part number 70-3835.
This is a roller-type main bearing for the later T140 engines, listed in our records under part number 60-7362. Main bearings like this one carry the crankshaft in the timing side and drive side cases, so the crank spins true instead of wallowing around on worn-out journals. A roller bearing handles the radial loads from the crank better than a plain bushing, which is part of why the factory moved to this style on later production.

Our records show this number was later superseded by 70-3835, so if you're cross-checking a parts book from either era, both numbers point to the same physical bearing. We don't have a lot of extra detail on file beyond the late-T140 listing, so if you're not sure which side of the engine or which exact application you need, give us a call before you order and we'll confirm fitment.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
