NEUTRAL SWITCH
Neutral indicator switch for the gearbox warning light console, also listed as 33906 and Lucas 147SA.
This is the neutral switch, part number 60-7240, later carried under factory number 33906. It's the electrical switch that lets the neutral light on the console tell you when the gearbox is sitting in neutral, rather than in gear. On the models that used the centrally-located ignition switch and warning light setup, this switch fed that indicator directly.

The part shows up in our records under the Lucas 147SA designation as well, and the same physical switch was used across late Triumph twins and triples with that warning console along with certain Norton Commando applications. If your parts book lists 60-7240 or 33906, you're looking at the same component either way.
We don't have much more catalog detail beyond that on this one, so if you're not sure your bike used this style of neutral indicator setup, give us a call before you order and we'll help confirm what you've got.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
