Switch neutral C/W lock nut 1 (Lucas 30702)
Gearbox neutral indicator switch with lock nut, cross-referenced to Lucas 30702, later superseded by 33906.
This is the neutral indicator switch that threads into the gearbox and tells you, via the panel light, when the transmission is sitting in neutral. The catalog lists it complete with its lock nut, and cross-references it to the Lucas 30702 switch, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows that Lucas number, it's the same physical part.

It shows up in both the gearbox inner cover and selectors section and the electrical components section of the parts book, which tells you it's a part that straddles both worlds - mechanically it's screwed into the gearbox where the selector mechanism can trip it, electrically it's wired back into the light circuit up front.
Our records show this number was superseded later by 33906, so if you're chasing this switch for a bike that used the later part numbering, that's the one to look for on the shelf. Either number gets you the same neutral switch and lock nut assembly.
