Throttle cable cpte. T140 Low bar
Complete throttle cable for the T140 with low handlebars, running from twistgrip to carburetor.
This is the throttle cable, complete assembly, for the T140 fitted with low bars. It runs from the twistgrip on the handlebar down to the carburetor slide, and it's the part that translates twisting the grip into the slide lifting and letting more air and fuel into the engine. Since it's called out for low bars specifically, the length and routing are matched to that bar style, so a cable pulled off a high-bar bike won't sit right.

Our catalog record shows this listed under CONTROL CABLES for the T140, appearing across 1979-1980. It also shows up as M60-7145, which is just an alternate stock-number form of the same part.
Cable assemblies wear from the inside out, so if you're getting sticky or inconsistent throttle response, or the outer sheath is cracked or kinked, that's usually the culprit. Worth checking the routing and free play when you put a new one on.
