Copper washer
A copper crush washer used at the crankcase, part number 60-7132, later renumbered 70-2441.
This is a copper sealing washer, part number 60-7132, listed in the crankcase section of the parts books. Copper washers like this one are used as a soft, crush-type seal under a drain plug or banjo fitting, so the copper deforms slightly under torque to seal against oil weeping past the threads.

The catalog places it with the crankcase, and it appears across entries from 1979 through 1985. Later factory records show this part renumbered to 70-2441, so if your parts book lists that number instead, you're looking at the same washer under its later factory identity.
Because a copper washer is a one-time-use item once it's been crushed down, it's worth having a spare on hand any time you pull a drain plug apart. If you're not sure this is the exact washer your crankcase calls for, give the shop a call and we'll confirm before you order.
