Throttle cable (twist grip to junction block)
Upper throttle cable running from the twist-grip down to the junction block on twin-carb Triumph unit twins.
This is the upper throttle cable, running from the twist-grip on the handlebar down to the junction block where it splits to feed the carburetors. Our catalog record shows it appearing in the CONTROL CABLES figure with a 1976-1977 span, and other catalog listings tie this same part number to the T140 and T120/T140V line with twin carburetors, so the junction-block setup on those models is what this cable is built for.

On a twin-carb setup the upper cable is only half the assembly - it works with a pair of lower cables that run from the junction block down to each carburetor slide. If you're replacing this one, it's worth checking the lower cables and the junction block itself for wear at the same time, since a tired cable further down the line can throw off your throttle feel even with a new upper in place.
Check the routing and adjustment at the twist-grip and at the block when you install it - a cable that's kinked or routed too tight will bind the throttle return, and that's not something to ignore.
