Plain washer
A plain flat washer used across multiple frame, suspension, and motor fitting locations on later Triumph twins.
This is a plain washer, part number 60-4246, used in a number of spots across the frame and running gear rather than one single job. It shows up in the catalog under crankcase fittings, swinging arm and suspension unit assemblies, motor fittings, frame hardware, the telescoping front fork, and footrest fittings, so it's one of those general-purpose flat washers that Triumph used wherever a bolt or stud needed a bearing surface under the nut.

Given how many different figures it turns up in, this washer earns its keep as a small stock item worth keeping a few of on hand rather than a part tied to one repair. The catalog shows it in use across model years spanning 1974 through 1983.
This number was superseded by 60-2331. If your parts book or an old invoice lists 60-4246, that's the same physical washer now carried under the later number - worth knowing if you're trying to match up a parts list against what's actually available.
