Caliper (4823 /432)

PN · 60-4101

60-4101 is a disc brake caliper, and the catalog shows it turning up in both the front brake and rear brake figures, so the same part number covers both applications. The original was a cast-iron Lockheed unit; over the years this design has been reproduced in a lighter alloy body as well, but the factory listing here is simply for the caliper itself.

This is a hydraulic caliper, which places it on the disc-brake generation of Triumphs rather than the earlier drum/cable machines. It bolts up wherever your parts book calls for 60-4101, whether that's the fork leg up front or the swingarm out back.

If you're cross-shopping against an older parts book or a different catalog's numbering, this same physical part has also been listed under D4101 and CP2969/CP2696. Worth double-checking which position (front or rear) your particular caliper came off before you order, since the catalog lists this number for both.
