FLASHER UNIT SPRING
Steel mounting spring that holds the turn signal flasher unit seated in the electrical cluster on early-'70s Triumphs.
This is the flasher unit spring that lives with the coil, capacitor pack, flasher unit, zener diode and horn cluster on turn-signal-equipped Triumphs from the early-to-mid '70s. It's a small steel spring, and its job is holding the flasher unit itself steady and properly seated in its mounting so the turn signal relay doesn't rattle loose or lose contact.

It shows up in the parts books under the number 60-3614, with D3614 as the older alternate form of the same part. If your turn signals are working intermittently or the flasher can be seen moving around in its mount, this little spring is worth checking.
It's a cheap item to keep on hand given how easy it is to lose or damage during a teardown of that electrical cluster. Sold individually.
