BSA Split pin — rocker oilway
Split pin for the rocker oilway in the cylinder head, part number 60-2684.

This is a small split pin used in the cylinder head area to secure the rocker oilway, keeping the oil feed to the rocker gear locked in place so it doesn't work loose from vibration. It's a simple hardware item, but if it goes missing you can lose oil pressure to the top end, so it's worth checking these when the head is off.
