FILTER ELEMENT TR5T/B50
Air filter element for BSA/Triumph OIF singles (B25, B50) and the Triumph TR5T twin.
This is the air filter element for the oil-in-frame BSA and Triumph singles, and it also shows up in the parts books for the Triumph TR5T twin. It's the paper/foam element that sits in the air filter housing and keeps dust and grit out of the carburetor intake before it can get pulled into the engine.

The part number 60-2601 covers the OIF-era B25, B50, and related singles as well as the TR5T. If you're not sure which filter your bike takes, check your parts book against this number before ordering, since several similar-looking elements were used across the BSA/Triumph singles and twins of this period.
This is routine maintenance stuff — swap it out when it's dirty or breaking down, and don't run the bike without one in place if you can help it. Keeping a spare on hand isn't a bad idea since it's not something you want to be without when it's time for a change.
