Grommet brake drum
Rubber grommet/blanking plug for the front brake drum, part number 60-2594, later superseded by 60-4152.
This is the small rubber grommet that fits into the front brake drum on the front wheel, catalogued for 1971 under part number 60-2594, also listed as D2594. It's a plug for an opening in the drum, not a structural part, but leaving it out invites water and grit into the brake assembly where you don't want either.

The factory later renumbered this piece to 60-4152, so if you're working from a later parts book or sourcing a replacement, that's the number to have on hand as well. Either number points to the same physical part.
