GREASE NIPPLE 1/4 BSF 26 tpi
A 1/4 BSF, 26 tpi grease nipple used at the swinging arm and other grease points on the rear suspension.
This is the grease nipple that threads into the swinging arm and other pivot points on the rear suspension, letting you put fresh grease into the bushings with a grease gun. It's a small, plain part but an important one to have in place if you're servicing the swinging arm pivot or any other grease point that calls for it.

The thread is 1/4 BSF at 26 tpi, so don't try to force a modern metric or UNF nipple in its place - it won't seat right and you'll strip the hole. This one shows up across swinging arm, rear wheel, and suspension unit figures over a long catalog run, which tells you it's a fitting used in more than one spot on the back end of the bike.
The older parts book number for this part is D1841, and later on the factory moved it to 28-2080 - so if your book lists either of those numbers, this is the same physical part. Cheap enough to keep a couple of spares on hand since these get knocked around and can clog up over time.
