TIRE LEVER TOOL
The tire lever tool from the factory Triumph toolkit, catalog number 60-0974.
This is the tire lever that lived in the toolkit on Triumphs through the late '60s and into the '70s, listed in the catalogs as 60-0974 and also known by the earlier D974 and the 84-27901 form. It's a basic hand tool for prying a tire off (and back onto) the rim, the kind of thing you'd reach for on the side of the road as much as in the shop.

The catalog entry is brief and doesn't go into length, material, or how many came in a set. It shows up across a number of toolkit listings from 1968 through 1979, which tells us it stuck around in the parts books for a long stretch, but we can't say more than that from the record.
If you're trying to match an original toolkit or just want a lever that carries the correct part number for a restoration, this is the one to ask for. Call the shop if you want us to confirm exactly what's in stock before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
