THROTTLE CABLE T150 RK3 - 44 Inch
Throttle cable for the Triumph T150 Trident, 44 inch, running from the twistgrip to the carburetors.
This is the throttle cable for the Triumph T150 Trident triple, listed in the parts book as a 44 inch RK3 cable. It runs from the twistgrip down to the carburetors and pulls open the throttle slides when you roll on the grip. On a triple you've got three carbs to coordinate, so the throttle cable and its adjustment matter more than on a twin.

The part shows up in the catalog under the CONTROL CABLES figure and carries a couple of alternate numbers on record, D890 and MC-455, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows one of those, it's the same cable. Catalog appearances run from 1969 through 1974, which lines up with the T150 production era.
Cables wear from the inside out - fraying strands, stiff pull, or a housing that's kinked will all make the throttle feel off even after carb balancing. Worth checking the full length for chafing where it runs along the frame before you write off a rough throttle as a carb problem.
